LIVE SOUND

I try to facilitate the audio reinforcement of a live concert by being as true to the natural sound of the performance as possible. Paying close attention to what the artist is trying to convey on stage and allow the mix to reflect the performance. I have found this process can be instantaneous or can take some very careful consideration and a bit longer to hone and perfect - either way, it is an art form and hugely satisfying when you get it right; when the crew, the audience and the artist are all connected in the magic of the performance. It’s a great feeling and one which I will never tire of!

I am experienced in multiple disciplines across a wide array of event types, from concerts to conferences, comedy nights to theatre work - I am happy to work in almost any environment and always enjoy the process.

I am an expert on all related live touring audio equipment.

Over the last couple of years I have tended to specialise in working with artists in the jazz, folk and world music disciplines but I am entirely happy to work with artists across any and all genres and find all new challenges hugely satisfying.
